New Irons Part 2: The Buyening

So about a week ago I posted here about getting new irons, and got some solid advice, which was, go get fit. So I did, at a place called Takao Golf club (if you're in Kyoto check it out I learned a ton and it only cost about 2,000 yen, I will be returning for driver and woods etc. at some point). I was fitted into the mizuno s-3, 2 degrees upright, and most importantly, Travil 95s shafts (the fitter said that I could pretty much choose whatever head I wanted so long as it was a similar style to the s-3, with the traditional higher loft higher spin profile, and explicitly gave the T100 as an example).

However, as other people mentioned, at my skill level I probably dont need a full, brand new set of custom clubs. So I am currently scouring the internet for a set of used used clubs that already feature the Travil 95s shaft, that are forged so I can then have them adjusted 2 degrees upright. This has obviously made the pickins rather slim, but Ive been able to find some decent looking PXG 317CBs, Bridgestone 241CBs (stronger, modern loft), P7MCs (def older looking), and Mizuno 245 pros.

For those of you who have experience buying off used sights like this, how do you determine club quality through pictures? And in a similar vein, do you have any tips for how to figure out what's a good deal? Too me the 317CBs seem like the best deal so far, 5-pw set for about 80,000 yen (like 500 dollars given the current exchange rate but, I get paid in yen sadly). Mizuno 245 pro look cleaner but are 90,000 for 6-pw. Bridgestone also look clean but 6-pw for a little under 80,000 and the loft is stronger. I'd post the links but I think reddit kinda poo-poos links. Any opinions on these, or other recommended clubs are also welcome, you never know what could pop up on mercari. Thanks for reading this long ass post, a lot of information is pretty unnecessary but I thought some people would like to know I actually followed up on everyones advice lol.

Extra notes - Travil is the Japanese version of Atmos, they are graphite shafts from Fujikura and they are amazing. Added spin and loft to my normal squanched line drive and also somehow even made my swing look more fluid. To anyone considering getting a fitting, if you're a golf fiend like me I cant recommend it enough as long as the fitter is cool. So much fun. I tried wider game improvement heads too and actually hit them terribly, so, just like everyone said, just cause youre bad doesnt mean auto-game improvement max fast etc. etc. Sorry Ok Im actually done now.

Irons, you buy now or you buy later?

Hello all. This seems more like a gear question than a general golf question so I brought it here.

Background: I've been playing for a little less than 3 years now with some used 2009 callaway x forged irons, 4 to pw, which apparently aren't the most forgiving clubs for a beginner. However I didnt know that when I started and just kept playing with them so that's what Im used to now. I hit these clubs fine most of the time (my ball flight is low as shit but it goes pretty straight usually), I usually shoot somewhere in the 90s, play from the whites, best score ever is an 88, also shoot over 100 regularly mostly by blasting driver ob. i have upgraded my driver and putter since i started (still blasting ob with the new driver but it goes farther when its not ob).

My question: The irons, while fine, started old and have only gotten older since. they are getting a lil beat up (the little plastic thing that connects the shaft to the head fell of my 7 iron recently), so ive been considering getting something new. But, do I actually need new irons? And if so, should I buy another set or wait and get fitted? Or get fitted now? (I still think my swing isnt exactly set so I feel getting fitted would be kind of a waste, when i check the tapes its not quite rory yet, only maybe 90% of the way there haha...ha).

Bonus question: I found new t300s online, 5 to pw, for a little less than 70,000 yen (I live in Japan). Buy now?
