What's this kind of drop leaf table called?

AI tells me it's a federal drop leaf table. It has metal caps on the feet, no makers mark, and is put together (possibly a repair) with flat head screws. I am curious about the joint mechanism because it's pretty clever - two pop out dovetail joints. Can anyone tell me more about this table? I want to satisfy my curiosity before I pass it along.

I am not being disparaging to myself as I love being frumpy. My clothes are patched, thrifted, and relatively few in number. But right now I feel like I have to buy a new outfit for the sake of a relative and I am really bewildered.

We are from a somewhat estranged side of the family and attending this service feels important to me. I am familiar with fancy people but the place we are going is in the land of billionaires.

I cannot just wear my 10 year old black polyester dress from Nordstrom Rack with tights, right? (The two dresses I usually wear to funerals are usually just my "church appropriate" sleeveless black midi dresses that I wear with a scarf.)

Aforementioned relative is very anxious about class and I must be both put together and inconspicuous!

Thanks everyone for such thoughtful advice and suggestions
