It's comedic how whenever I play tank or DPS, my preferred roles (Masters with GM5 peak), more than half of my games I have a suboptimal support lineup on my team. Something like zen/lucio, mercy/brig, lifeweaver/mercy. Meanwhile the other team runs ana/kiri, lucio/kiri, etc without fail.

Whenever I play support, I see what my other support plays and I pick a complimentary hero. For example, if we have mercy? I go ana or kiri, someone that provides burst healing for our tank. If we have ana? I go zen or brig, depending on what the other team is running. It's silly how support is by far my least experienced role, yet it's my highest rank just because I don't let my team hang out to dry with a troll backline. End of rant.
