Some insight from the perspective of a new player
I’ve been really enjoying the game so far, but as a new player there are a few QoL/UI things that feel surprisingly restrictive while learning the game.
- Multiplayer downtime feels too limiting When I finish my turn and the other player is still playing, I basically can’t do anything. Sometimes I realize I forgot to spend Law points, check Astrology, swap units, or make some small adjustment while waiting. Even worse, I can’t freely inspect my own units or read detailed unit information during that downtime. It makes the waiting feel much longer than it should. Let us keep doing stuff even after pressing "pass turn" maybe not combats but being able to do other stuff would be huge.
- --------------------
- Unit progression info is too hidden Right now, I can’t really inspect future upgrades or detailed faction units unless i open the "recuit unit" button at the top right. Making the small window in the bottom with units misleading (let me access unit information from there? and get rid of the "recruit unit" button?)
Overall, the game already feels great, but these kinds of information/QoL improvements would make the onboarding experience much better for newer players.
