Can I bring a small fake sword?

Update: I initially wrote this as a comment but I'll put it here instead.

After some deliberation and the replies I received, I won't bring the sword hair pin -- even if it's purely decorative.

Aside from this popping up in the scanner, some comments also reasonably mentioned the issue of knife crimes in the UK. It is a very valid point to make and I'm glad this was brought up, since I don't live in the UK and thus this persepctive didn't cross my mind. It's definitely not something I want to play around with especially in a country with knife crime issues.

Additionally, this hair piece is something I don't want to (possibly) lose as it's a hair piece that I like very much.

Thank you for all your replies 🫶I've decided to not bring it. My concert costume will be improvised in other ways.

Hi all, so I recently got a hair accessory (hair pin / hair stick). To my understanding, most knives and such not allowed. And that makes sense to me in not carrying real knives around. But with my object in question, it is blunt and more decorative.

I'm wondering about this as I will be taking the Eurostar to the UK to attend a concert, and it would be great if part of my concert costume could have a sword hair pin. If I'm not allowed to bring it, so be it. But I wanted to check if it is possible. It is completely blunt, but yes it looks like a mini sword 😅 you can check the pics for reference. I just don't want the hair pin confiscated at security. I'm also worried it would still look sharp in the scanner or something like that, or look like an "imitation of a weapon" where it might cause issues?

This is an example for what mine looks like. The pictures are screenshotted from this. https://www.etsy.com/listing/4447491221/gold-or-silver-tone-sword-hair-pin-with?ref=elp_anchor_listing&pro=1&frs=1
