I always thought my R-CPD wasn't a big deal, just something that gives me discomfort

Found a way to alleviate my symptoms completely and now I see some major improvements in my day to day life

Energy level and executive function : No more bloating mid day leads me to feel more energetic and "awake" rather than slowly giving in to my lethargy

Hydration levels : No longer scared of drinking fluids throughout the day as water previously would fill me up with air

Appetite : Related to the hydration levels point. I was completely stuffed from dinner yesterday and felt horrible. When I triggered 3 burps, it felt like I was only half full and I was able to jump around and do sit ups directly after a heavy-ish meal!

Flatter stomach : self explanatory but wow does it make a drastic difference. I have so much more confidence now going out, I used to literally skip meals before any social gathering if I knew I needed to "look good"

I don't do any gaming or local LLM stuff but I do a lot of OS virtualization ( mainly Linux images ) and I can use a hefty amount of docker containers in one go

I'm really looking to switch but my budget allows for a maximum of 24gb M5 air if I stretch my limit for spending a little

My docker containers can use up to 1.5gb of RAM at a time if I'm working on multiple projects, I often have a lot of Firefox tabs open and I regularly work with large-ish datasets on postgres and some other locally hosted frontend tooling

I have no frame of reference on how MacOS manages it's unified memory.

What I've been doing :

Throat massages

Air vomits

Side shakers

Conventional shakers

By partially self-cured, I mean that I can completely alleviate my symptoms by forcefully inducing burps and having a few accidental burps

At the start of my journey, I was basically only croaking and in constant discomfort. After 1 day of side shakers and conventional shakers, nothing happened.

On the second day, I tried to air vomit. I was so scared of vomiting that I gagged myself probably about 20 times. I'm the end, I only managed to force out a pop that smelt, which meant I did release gas. Though, it was too small to alleviate any symptoms.

On my third day, I was bloated during a school day at the University and after all my classes ended, I got into my car and started practicing some head movements. I tried the popular technique of turning my head to the right when I felt gas coming up. On the 2 hour car ride home, I did not manage any burps until I was distracted but happened to instinctively turn my head to the right. It was a very small and faint release of air, not a real burp. From here on, I knew that I had to be legitimately unconscious about my throat to let out any air.

On this third day, I also managed to air vomit much more at a time. It was starting to sound like real burps. Instead of a pop, it was a sustained release of air. Enough to completely alleviate symptoms which was great. I also required less gags to actually have successfully air vomits.

On my fourth day, managed 2 very faint small burps without any external stimulation other than turning my head to the right but this was still not enough to alleviate symptoms. I also have to turn my head to the right every time I felt air come out, 90 percent of the times, it fails and only croaks come out. Embarrassing to do this in public but I was desperate.

When I tried air vomiting on this fourth day it was a completely different experience. I stuck my fingers till I reached this circular small structure and sorta gently touched that. That results in A LOT of air being expelled in my stomach. It didn't feel like a air vomit. The gag was weak and the success rate was really high. It was like I was manually triggering a huge burp.

On my fifth day, though I've only had 2 really small ineffective burps with the right head technique, I was able to comfortable air vomit out all air and today, I have had no more symptoms.

What I think helped the most :

Being young ( better at creating neuromuscular connections? I'm 19 )

Air vomiting and brute forcing the emetophobia to learn how to air vomit ( it's going to be horrible at first, I was legitimately crying )

Practicing ( I buy fizzy drinks and try to turn my head to the right for burps. You will fail like 99 percent of the time but I believe it's helped me a lot indirectly)

My air vomit protocol for clearing gas :

After your meal, wait until you start croaking a few times or when you feel bloated.

Push up all the air to the top by contracting and relaxing your core/abs. Any technique works really, just gotta get those classic croak sounds. Accumulate a bunch of these croaks.

Wash your fingers with soap, and illicit the air vomit. Do this with the way that works for you.

After the air vomit, contract your abs again, accumulate the croaks and repeat.

It takes me 2 to 4 of these expulsions to relieve symptoms completely

I'm also at the point now where it feels less like vomiting and more like a manual switch I touch to burp. No discomfort, no feeling of any of my mela coming out. Just clean expulsion of air.

I'm at my wit's end contacting all these ENT specialists and Laryngologists just for them to dismiss me

Has anyone had any luck with contacting ENTs and having them actually take you seriously?

I might need to start actually setting up appointments but I'm worried that I'll just be dismissed as normal but this time end up wasting gas and money with all these appointments that will lead to nothing.

My only options to get treatment it seems is to go to Singapore and have it done but that may probably end up ridiculously expensive. Less idea too with the potential of some patients needing a second round of treatment.
