This lil guy sits in my window sill, but the winter sun is really strong! With his black pot, I’ve noticed the soil is actually getting quite hot too. Is this a cause for concern? I haven’t noticed any impacts to the cactus, but I would hate for something to harm him. I’m not sure though if being a cactus, he’s more tolerant of hot soil? Any thoughts or suggestions welcome ☺️

Side note: he’s in like chunky/barky soil (I’ve removed all the decorative rocks he came with) and water him about once a month. We had a massive tree that used to shade my window, but it fell (on the garage 🙃) and so now the winter sun is intense!)
