Finish "The Last Story" today, and I love it.

First and foremost, I'd like to give a big thanks to the HD texture mod here https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-the-last-story-uhd-texture-pack

This totally change my experience toward the game when I play it on Wii all those years ago. (and I did not finish it)

I really think the game is well worthwhile for the JRPG fans out there. So let me spread the love a bit here in case anyone never seen it before.

+ A beautiful art, memorable & distinct design for each character.

+ Song, by Nobuo Uematsu, no comment needed.

+ Gameplay, honestly I was confused at first and struggle a lot. Turn out it need lots of tactics. Once I know what to do, the same battle I struggle become quick battle. I do think it resemble Dragon Age, where position, enemy weakness and environment play a vital role. You can't just hack and slash all the way.

+ Story, While I think it's pretty straight forward, I like the simplicity of it. It's certainly not the best out there, but with vast of character interaction - banter among team, it made player fun to keep playing.

+ Party. I think this is the big catch for me. Our party is vibrant, lively and fun to be with. I personally love the game that has a good friend fight alongside us.

Some issue I found it the battle once there are many monster + party, the effect is too much and I can't see a thing lol.

And that's it! I love the game. Have much fun with it. Will enjoy the ost for a long time. Hopefully one day we can see it remaster/remake or sequential.

Thanks for reading!
