Last fall I planted a 1000 tulip bulbs that I purchased from holland bulb farms. It was a cheap bulk crate, but they came through in a big way! I couldn’t be happier!

Tulips and daffodils are very easy to grow in this area, you just have to plan ahead a bit and fall plant.
Zone 5 upstate NY I purchased a bulk crate of 1,000 bulbs in the fall from Holland Bulb farm for around $170 dollars. I think that also included shipping, and I think nearly every single one came up! I really didn’t know what to expect, I think they’re stunning and couldn’t be happier! There’s a very balanced and nice mix of colors.

We bought an 1880s farmhouse that we’re doing a massive renovation on and I needed to do something that was not renovation related!! Plus the house unfortunately has next to 0 curb appeal and little in the ways of plants.
My only regret, I really wish I had planted 2-3K and some daffodils. But there’s always this fall!
