Is it just me or was this way harder/time intensive than usual?

Usually I complete those passes pretty comfortably and without really giving care like looking up requirements or daily tasks - even the short ones that only go to stage 30. But with this one I cared about since Giovanni radar, played every day and quite a lot on the weekend and evenstill was struggling and had to brute-force completion on Monday with quick-catching in the city after work.

Since we have the overpowered Fusion Monsters and our lord and saviour Prof. Willow invented the PP in my mind T5 raids - apart of some very few exceptions - are an easy duo.

I was even convinced that a lot of bosses could be done more or less comfortably with lvl 30+ wildcatch filler mons (example Mamoswine).
The Kanto birds are among the weaker bosses, but double weak to rock Moltres just took me and my son half time and Zapdos over 2/3 of the time with the A-Team and PP. From memory stuff like Palkia/Dialga were roughly halftime and even their origins were no problem and those raids werent that long ago. How is Zapdos more difficult than them?

Am I misremembering that badly? Or are other bonuses cancelled now? All I could find was the HP increase to 15k but google says that already happend back in 2019.
