Does anyone have experience of a failed sacrocolpopexy? I’m five months post op, and pretty sure I have a cystocele and rectocele again already. Big new bulge at front and back and lots of spasms and aching and heaviness if I do anything other than gentle walks. Absolutely devastated. If you’ve had a recurrence, how was it treated?

I had open abdominal hysterectomy, sacrocolpopexy, endometrial adhesiolysis and bilateral salpingo oophorectomy four months ago. I’m still having lots of aching, heaviness and spasms and definitely feel a soft bulge on the anterior wall. Anyone had similar surgery able to offer advice or support? I’m quite depressed that I’ve not recovered more. I still can’t garden, cycle or even do light weights without a flare up of symptoms 😢.
