I made a post about not listening to my SM about how to stock stuff on truck so he sent me home from truck. First I want to mention I am a manager not just a stocker. Second the fact I got sent home is what created this other mess. We usually separate our departments by what they are. So I leave and now the two new managers SM and merch who has been there 3 days are left on a 2,000 piece truck. I come to hear from the night manager that every department is mixed together. Why am I pissed you say? Because I am tired of cleaning up his messes and now how am I supposed to stock that shit.

So I was sent home for insubordination. It is truck day and I do not agree with how the new merch and SM do things. For instance the new SM says old hbc has to be worked out before new hbc. He wants us to load our u boats with old hbc and then put the new hbc in this hug pile we have in the back. So I was clearing the u boats getting them ready for truck cause we had a 2,000 piece truck. The new merch goes and whines cause I cleared her u boat to make room for the new HBC. 300 cases. The SM comes back and starts yelling crap to me and tells me to go home.

We have the old fashion safe those big black ones that you type the pass code in. My old SM gave each manager their own passcode for the safe but I have been having to share mine with another manager and I don't feel comfortable doing that. How do I setup new codes?

My SM hates me and he had me do these i learns for troubled people. Does every manager do those cause they weren't on there before.

So I was always told the deposit can't go to the bank wrong. My SM says if the safe is off the money comes out of the deposit. Is there a way to adjust the deposit in the computer? Cause then won't the deposit be wrong? Also if it is the other way around say the deposit is off we were told to use money from the safe.

So I want to move a fall packaway to the sales floor but when I scan the packaway label it says, item not found. Am I missing a step? Do I just scan the label then scan something inside? I know how to packaway products just not how to move them to the sales floor.

I swear candy was not this bad last year we got way more this year and now Halloween is already showing. Last thing I expected to see.

So we are having a new store manager start next week. Thank goodness cause people at my store are losing it. My question is what happens? Does the DM come the same day or does the new person just come and show up?

So every Wednesday I order frozen cause it is due Thursday and I am off Thursday. I usually have no issue with it but today I went in to order and there was no order for me to make. It said nothing to display. I called vistar and they said they had nothing on file for my store. How do I go about ordering my frozen truck?

Our restrooms are closed because we store freight in them. Our backroom is pretty bad right now and our restrooms have all our seasonal freight in them. I heard this story from the closing manager. This man asks the cashier if he can use the restroom and she said they are closed. He said if she didn't let him use them he was going to shit in the store. Some time goes by while the closing manager is on break the second cashier goes back and tells her there is poop in the food aisle. She cleans it up and that is it. Fast forward to Friday we are stocking the plus stuff and come to find out he also pooped in the backroom by the plus stuff.

I clicked on the 🔎 glass and the for the code I hit pto. It asks for hours and this manager is part time so she has 30. I put 5 hours for each day to cover a week. She is going on vacation. I hit submit but when I go back to the schedule it doesn't say paid time off. This is my first time doing it.

So I was never taught how the endcaps really work except if it is plus it is for plus and seasonal stuff is certain stuff. So I setup a coke end cap with the 1 liter bottles and the Pepsi rep is mad saying the end cap was supposed to be Gatorade.

So I was talking to my DM today and we were trying to figure out how a certain schedule was going to work. He was talking about the one he approved Monday which is a sorta real one but I know the manager who does the schedule goes in and edits it after he approves it cause people later put what days they wants off. This was the way he was taught how to do it was he taught wrong?

So I got the truck papers today with the 60 pages bit the page was missing that says what stop my store is and what time the truck will be there. Is there another way to find the truck time?

So I am at the point of zeroing out the frozen order. Everything is zero but it will not let me complete the order. Does that mean it will not come? The complete order is greyed out.

So what happens when this merch comes to our store? We are borrowing a merch from another store. I guess she is helping with the seasonal area but I am not sure. We just lost our SM and merch and I just became the new merch. I am in over my head so any help is appreciated. I barely know what the merch does now I have to run the store with no help. We have two other ASMs but one wants to go down to 4 days morning only and the other only wants to come in at night 3 days. I know I went off track with my original question but this is a lot to process. I am the only one who does long shifts and the other managers are telling me to see if the DM will let me do over time while they get 2 days off and I get none. So back to the merch coming in how long do the stay and what do they do?

How long should it take to put away a pallet and half of frozen? Our freezers were completely empty so we had to order a lot of frozen food and it took me my entire shift to stock the freezer. It was more than 5 hours. I was the MOD and back up.

We are about to lose our store manager due to retirement and our merch manager due to he says he cant work under any other manager. I just became a full time OPS and the only thing I know how to do is close. We have two other part time OPS but one only knows how to close and one is a morning manager who doesn't know how to close. My store manager has two weeks left until he leaves and he says he will teach me how to order the frozen truck and some stuff about the GM truck. He is going to teach me to make the schedule too. I feel like I need to know more in order to stay afloat. I think the morning manager should learn deposit just incase. What do you guys recommend I learn?

So my store manager is retiring and right now a new one is being trained. My question is I am wanting to be the new merch manager because the current one is getting ready to quit. Who would hire the next merch manager? I am worried that the new store manager would not pick me because she is new to our store and mabey pick a friend.
