I spent the last ~2 weeks on this for art class. I don't do colored pencil stuff often but I definitely like how this piece turned out.
This takes place right after EMG and right before the intro scene in the movie.
I have a lot of males in my dubia roach colony that are just now molting, but there's something wrong with this one. Does anyone kmow exactly what this is? Will he survive on his own? He's moving and otherwise fine, just very physically deformed.
I decided this was an absolute must after the movie, but only got around to finishing it now. I could have done a better job at the skeletons and the title but otherwise I'm pretty proud of how it turned out.
I noticed that interestingly, the room where Async rescues Mary, and where Clark looks down the hallway with the caveman cutout are the same part of the set. (Much like how the christmas tree room and the throne room are the same room utilized for different scenes)
Definetely a clever re-use of set!
Assuming that this map is at least decently accurate, where would the Kelowna branch be? (The area identified in EMG, and supposedly the entire movie takes place in it)
From when Naren tries to reach STANDARD at the outpost he found
My adolescent brachypelma boehmei ~ "Eurydice" ~ very eager to feed last wednesday.
Me and my friends are going to see the movie dressed as different characters from Kane's series. I won't be the one wearing this hazmat suit (I am going to be Ivan Beck) but I just finished making it today and I'm really proud of the result. I'll be keeping it after lol.
"You won't find yourself there — because you don't really exist" (Text taken from one of Kane's sketches)
Made entirely with a graphite mechanical pencil in 2-3 hours. Definetely some of my best art for Kane's backrooms so I figured I'd share it here!
