Having played all the modern generation Monster Hunters, I honestly don't understand why they're going so much further from this cozy and super chill gameplay loop of a rough hunt followed by a gathering quest.

The main difference in challenge I've discovered is that hunting is TOUGH. It's super exhausting at times to the point of kinda burning out. But I it feels like you're fighting a huge beast as a tiny human. This man vs nature aesthetic is just totally unmatched in any other game series and I don't get why they won't follow through with that.

After an exhausting hunt, I just go and pick up a chill gathering/delivery quest to cool off by getting some materials for my next upgrade. If I'm feeling freshened up, I go hunt again.

The thing is that maybe some people don't get as mentally tired as me after a challenging hunt, so they can just go pick up another hunting quest to progress faster. Everyone goes through the game at their own pace and progress as fast or as slow as they'd like!

I hope they do this format again because it just does everything right.
