I’m currently looking to buy a Daikin 1.5 ton indoor unit (split AC). My existing unit has a cooling coil issue, and I’m exploring whether replacing the indoor unit makes more sense.

If anyone has:

- A working Daikin indoor unit (1.5 ton)

- Preferably in good condition with no gas leakage issues

- Compatible with standard inverter setups

and is looking to sell, please let me know.

I’m open to:

- Used units (as long as they’re in good condition)

- New/unused spare units as well

Hey folks,

I’ve got a 2-year-old Daikin split AC (1.5 ton class) and recently it stopped cooling properly. Service guy from Daikin checked it and said the indoor cooling coil is leaking.

He’s quoted me around ₹12,000 for coil replacement (including gas refill, labor, etc.).

Now I’m stuck deciding:

- Should I just replace the coil?

- Or does it make more sense to replace the entire indoor unit?

- Or is this a sign I should start thinking about a new AC altogether?

A few more details:

- AC is only used normally (not heavy commercial use)

- No prior major issues or repairs

- This leak seems to have come out of nowhere

Also — if anyone here has a compatible Daikin indoor unit (1.5 ton) in good condition and is looking to sell, I might be interested.

Would really appreciate advice from anyone who’s dealt with this:

- Did your coil replacement last?

- Is ₹12k reasonable?

- Any risks of the same issue happening again?
