My mom is 75 yrs old. Lately she has started being very unreasonable. It’s like everyday she complains about one or the other health issue . We have shown to the best of doctors for everything and done all health checkups and everything is normal. She had arthritis and is putting on a lot of weight. Every week she changes her doctors and sees some reel and goes to a new doctor. She is always talking bitter things in her past , though she has had the best possible and comfortable life with my very adjusting and loving dad. U cannot argue with her at all, she is not open to any advice. Everyday it’s a new issue, if not her health, it can be anything, house, relatives, city , etc. We r shocked sometimes by what she says, as it is so unreasonable. It’s all taking a huge toll on my dad’s health. He is already in his 80s and quite frail in health . We feel so bad for him as he is the one who has to deal with this all the time.
I feel she needs a mild antidepressant.
Don’t know if that will help.
