Putting this out there as a "before" picture and starting my journey of recovery.

I've been picking my skin on and off for a decade, leaving to some scarring, unevennes and just general neglect of my skin. I also avoided using moisturizer and SPF, thinking "what's the point, it'll never improve anyway", almost as a punishment to myself.

But actually I'd like to get better. This is day 1.

Venue: Greek orthodox church. It's probably my biggest hesitation. The family and the couple are not hugely religious/traditional, but did pick this venue to honour their roots and religion. I will find a jacket/stole/scarf to cover up the shoulders/back. Mainly worried about the slit and whether I can get away with it

Pls ignore the messy boxes behind me. It's my various crafty works in progress which I'll get to eventually. Uh huh.
