Therapy Sessions?

I have been in therapy for a couple years now for childhood trauma. We are still working on that but now my basis is working on CBT modalities now that I’ve been diagnosed with GAD (anxiety). The therapist I’m seeing does not take insurance and I love her so I am not interested in seeing someone else. She has since opened her own practice and I followed her. She kept the same rate as before, which I am ok to be paying for, but she mentioned that I could file for reimbursement since I now have a firm diagnosis. Because of this diagnosis, that is proof of the reason for doing therapy sessions. She does provide a superbill but she is “out of network.” I have the diagnosis code right on the invoice she gives.

Does anyone know how to file for out of network therapy reimbursement for Cigna?

Thank you.

Our goddaughter is my husband’s au pair’s daughter, which doesn’t sound close but the au pair is family at this point and very involved in his life as she practically raised him. He became her daughter’s godfather before meeting me but they said to please call her goddaughter even though, for me, it’s by proxy lol. But I’ve been with my husband for 13 years now.

Anyways, I’m stuck on a gift for her besides cash & a card. I want to do something extra. She’s catholic, so I was thinking maybe a nice necklace or this one from Altar’d State.

She’s going to community college (nothing wrong with that! I did that to save money!) so no “university” gear needed yet.

Also, suggestions for how much cash? We don’t see her that often as we moved 2 hours away but we did get an invite to her grad party & did give her money at her quinceañera 2 years ago.

Thank you!
