Hi, everyone!!

There’s a BIG (12) group of us going to the beach next month, ranging from early 20s (like 2-3 people) to the rest being in their late twenties. And a couple is bringing their baby :) I am good friends/close with most people but there are a few that I don’t know that well. (Big trip, a little nervous lol)

I thought it might be nice to get everyone a matching beach gift to commemorate said trip! I was thinking matching sunglasses, but didn’t know if anyone on here might have a way better idea. Also might want it to be something I can get the 10 month old to match with too :) if anyone can think of anything cuter or more thoughtful than sunglasses that would be lovely hahah

I’m trying to figure out gifts for dads and men in the 50+ age range and I feel like it’s harder than it should be. Stuff like ties, socks, or generic gadgets feels kind of… meh. 

I want to get something my dad would actually use or genuinely enjoy, whether it’s practical, fun, or something that sparks a hobby.

So, what are some gifts you’ve loved receiving or would actually want at this stage in life? Any recommendations for things that aren’t just safe but actually thoughtful?

On a trip in New York as a broke college kid, want to take some gifts for my friends back home. My budget is pretty tight $10-15ish per person.

1st Friend - She likes strawberries a lot and she likes cute stuff

2nd Friend- She likes chocolates and cute stuff

3rd Friend- He likes coffee/tea a lot.

4th friend- He is a bit tricky to buy gifts for. He enjoys a lot of physical activities, I know he likes hand creams.

Hey everyone — I’m looking for ideas for a meaningful 30th birthday gift for my brother.

He’s into motorcycles, cars, fitness, nature/outdoor stuff, and follows crypto/trading as a hobby. For my birthday he once gave me a very generous watch, so I’d really like to surprise him with something memorable as well.

My budget is around $1000, but I’m completely open regarding the format:

I still have around two months to plan it properly, so I’m mainly looking for ideas that people genuinely thought were impressive or meaningful.

My mom's birthday is next week and I'm struggling to figure out what to get her. For context, she and my dad built their dream house together 16 years ago, and unfortunately my dad died suddenly and unexpectedly 12 years ago. Over time the loss of his income has made the cost and size of the house unsustainable for her alone, so she's preparing to downsize even though she'd rather not.

I'd like to get her something that isn't going to add much to what she's going to have to move, and maybe something that will commemorate her house so to speak. She's having a hard time not only leaving the house she had custom built, but the last bit of the life she and my dad had together.

Any ideas?

Hello , my bestie loves silver , and one of thing she like have discussed with me is that she wants a dupatta with mata kali ( goddess kali) depicted on that dupatta . she lives in LA , USA. i am in india and broke . mind you she did not asked me one day just cleverly i asked so i know these things she like . so , i am like what to do ? as i am demn broke also i do not have any fashion sense ?

also i loved the golden color necklace but I saw she wears, silver ring, silver earings but i feels she will look nice in the golden color necklace. so what should I do?? 😭

Her birthday is at the end of May. I have absolutely no idea what to give her as a present because she has too many interests. You know when you get overwhelmed and you don’t even know how to start? That’s how I feel. Can someone please help me?
Here’s a list of her major hobbies:
- Movies, she loves them and watches like one movie every day if not more. She has even filmed some short movies herself.
- Baking. Sometimes she brings us her cupcakes or cakes.
- Sudoku, rubik’s cube and logic puzzles.
- Music, especially old rock songs but not only. I’m pretty sure she plays an instrument or two, but I don’t remember what they are.
- She is in the school theater club.
- She enjoys reading.
I definitely forgot something, so I’ll probably add stuff to the list later if anything else comes to mind.

So my partners birthday is in July and I have been wanting to make something nice for him that’s not just store bought. I always write him a cute letter for big days (birthdays, anniversaries, etc) but I’m stuck on anything else. I’m not a very artsy person but I’m sure If I had over 2 months to work on something I’d get it done. For some context, some of his interests/hobbies include video games (probably his fav past time, recently it’s been Minecraft and Elden ring), working out, art and anime (though he hasn’t been drawing or watching any anime’s recently), golf, lego,—just to name a few. He’s also a big Star Wars and LOTR fan.

I really enjoy writing, so I will still be giving him a letter but does anyone have any other ideas? Im open to any suggestions.

Hi all, I’m looking for an 8th grade grad gift for a boy. He’s into gaming/ all the typical 13-year-old boy things. I’m a little out of the loop in terms of what brands and things the kids are into these days. I’m also looking for recommendations for Chicago-specific activity gifts for the family. In the past I’ve gifted them museum passes, tickets to cuddle bunny, and slick city which have all been big hits. Thanks!

My wife has been writing these little notes to our daughter and putting them in her lunchbox for her first year of school. I want to do something with a bunch of them and put em on a poster, photo, that’s the thing…I’m not sure what to do with them that would make them look nice and, you know, make her all mushy. My boyfriend’s (M21 soon to be M22) birthday is next month and I have no idea what to get him. He always tells me he doesn’t want anything and is extremely hard to buy for. I want to get him things he will actually use and like. Any ideas?

my boyfriend and his twin has a birthday coming up end of month! we also are build a house (duplex) which should be completed in the next month or 2. i was thinking on getting them laundry baskets for the bathrooms and filling it with essentials for move in? and maybe this will be great for his brother ? but maybe its too small for my boyfriend? what are some ideas too add into the baskets? that might be needed!!
