My mom is an APRN and does 2 24s a week, so lots of time in and out of on-call room when it isn’t super busy. I’m trying to think of good ideas for stuff she can have in there
it requires us to have multiple conversations with ai. it’s really clunky, and i don’t really like the idea of ai listening to what i say idk. i don’t mind ai usage for like typing and stuff but having it listen to me creeps me out (i don’t even use siri on my phone) it’s not optional and i’m really not a fan. is there anything i can do or is it probably just mandated curriculum and i need to deal with it?

My grandparents are coming to visit, they told me to pick some nice restaurants to go to. I’m not sure where to take them (I just cook at home or eat on campus). Any suggestions?

I want to make my college tuition cheaper for future semesters. I’m a first semester college student (currently have a 4.0 bc of a summer course but it was only one credit hour). My HS gpa was like a 3.2 unweighted and a 4.1 weighted, sat was a 1220 (superscore is 1230). I’m an english major and also pre-med (minoring in bio and chem). i’m already applying to all my school ones but where else should i look??

I have blonde hair currently but when my roots grow out it looks bad, but it’s expensive to get it done. Is there a way to get it done way less a year and not spend that much money?? I’ve tried student hair salons before

Monday- Eggs and fruit, ceasar salad, mac and cheese
Tuesday- protein shake, something on campus, tacos
wednesday- granola bar, cilantro lime rice, elote
thursday- smoothie, cheese sandwich, ramen
friday- eggs and fruit, chicken alfredo, ceasar salad
saturday- a pancake and fruit, broccoli and a biscuit, meatballs and lemon pepper greek yogurt
sunday- bagel and cream cheese, mac and cheese, cheese sanwich
I’m trying to get a job that will either want me to do 12 hour shifts or 24 hour shifts. I’m trying to figure out the best way to build my class schedule so this is an option? Any tips? All online isn’t an option
I’ll have to speak at an undergrad research conference in the spring. I get really nervous about anything performance related (auditions, presentations, etc) even though I don’t really care what the audience thinks. I’m trying to figure out how to prep for that so I don’t freak out. any tips?
ETA: I used to do a lot of performance stuff. I did marching band and colorguard. I constantly had auditions for flute and lots of colorguard stuff. I did fine until the actual performance came and then would freak out (and make myself sick) until I was on the field. with public speaking generally the same idea, large groups make me feel faint lol
I’m in college but I think my school unfortunately does not have a winterguard :/ I’m not sure how to go about finding one, and I haven’t spun a flag since last August

for my chemistry lab class they make us use the provided gloves and our lab coats and such aren’t allowed to leave the lab. but they only buy medium and large gloves, the mediums are huge, i should be a small or an extra small glove and it’s hard to work with huge ass gloves :/

The school year just started and I’m having trouble paying attention since the content is relatively easy at this point and all my classes are lecture-based. I’m a bit hyperactive and struggle to sit still all day, but I care about learning (and don’t want to disturb my peers). Are there any recommendations you might have? I don’t/cant get accommodations (don’t have all the proper documentation bc I got diagnosed years ago but not through school), and so it needs to be something I can do myself. I don’t have an issue listening to the lectures and I’m still learning but I just can’t sit still, that’s the bigger issue

She’s a hospitalist and so she does 24 hour shifts that sometimes are really busy, but there’s some shifts where there’s a ton of downtime. She wants a hobby that she can do while she’s at work (so non-messy, can be put down at anytime, etc). She already crotchets and does the Wooble kits so not that, she wouldn’t be into Duolingo or screen related stuff (she has a tutor for language learning already).
I’m a college student who is pre-med. I’m not really into drawing, I used to play an instrument but unfortunately I can’t living in a shared space because it’s inconsiderate. I mainly spend my days watching tv or doing homework. I read already, but I want something more hands on? It would be nice if it’s non distributive so I can do it in class as something to keep my hands busy, but it’s fine if not.
I’m trying to save money, what places have student discounts? For anything, food, entertainment, etc
are there any super cheap places to get a spray tan?
and do i need to make an appointment with advisor and when?
