What is your best lazy beauty hack?
I love looking put together but some mornings i just do not have the energy for a 10-step routine. What is your absolute favourite shortcut that takes less than 2 minutes but completely changes your looks.
eyebrows
i started shaving my eyebrows off about a year ago and recently ive been getting really bad 5 o’clock shadow whenever i shave them. im debating on waxing them or just letting them grow back. if i wax will the shadow go away? or do i just cut my losses and end the era
Greasy Hair
Hey everyone. I naturally have really thin hair. Not to where it looks like it’s thinning or to where you can see my scalp through my hair, but I don’t have a lot of it. I don’t know if my hair has always been this way or just since high school, but my hair gets greasy so fast and I hate it. I don’t know if I can change that though. I guess that’s what I’m coming on here for. Every day, after work, I take a shower. I use a clarifying shampoo first, and then I go in with a more moisturizing one after. I then end with a conditioner. I do this every day and switch up the brands often. It doesn’t matter what I use though, my hair is always greasy by the next day. Sometimes I can manage to go a day without cleaning my hair, but by the time I’m scheduled to clean it, it’s so incredibly greasy. Is there anything I can do about this? Or is this just my fate? Any and all advice or tips are welcome!
How do you maintain scents while using daily sunscreen?
Basically what the title says. I use sunscreen every day because I'm on tretinoin for acne. I use acocoa butter lotion, body butter, and body oil, then a body mist (buying perfume is out of my budget lolol), all matching scents, but even dousing myself w/ body mist I feel that the scent of sunscreen drowns out my bodycare...any tips? I use the Banana Boat sunscreen and Beauty of Joseon for my face. Thanks :] !
Why do I look so different in the back camera?
I’m so confused. I look good in the mirror and it’s what I’m used to, I take a selfie and a few months ago I looked horrible but now I look good in my selfies on normal camera. But when I take mirror pictures, someone takes a photo of me on their phone or the back camera of my own phone, I look horrible. I wear glasses so when I stand back I can’t see that well but in the mirror i look good so what’s going on? Which is the real me?
When did you start taking thinning hair seriously?
For me it feels like thinning is one of those things that's really easy to brush off at first. Bad lighting, weird part, stressful month whatever.
At what point did you realize your hair was getting thinner and decide to do something about it and did you start changing your routine right away or wait for a while because you weren't sure it was worth worrying about yet?
Help needed with eyelash curling - Guy first timer
Hello, first time listener and caller here.
I naturally have really long eyelashes that have started to become an issue. My eye doctor pointed out they droop and obscure my eyes, so I got an eye lash curler. The problem is the curl won’t hold - I’ve gotten them curl up so they’re at least perpendicular with my eyes but they droop back down not long after.
Am I using a bad brand (elf)? Am I not holding long enough (7-10 seconds like box said)? Is there something else I should be doing to keep my lashes up? Please help a clueless gay boy stop his lashes from causing mild visual annoyance. Thank you!
Is there any makeup sponge brand that doesn’t have to be wet before using?

Recommendations to purchase in Vancouver BC?
I am traveling to Vancouver BC from Washington State and I was wondering if anyone had any beauty recommendations to purchase while I'm there? I am early 30s, pale white with red hair, and I love sunscreens, any skin care, and any strawberry red color depositing hair products. Is there anything fun in Canada that you might recommend for me to pick up? Thank you so much!
How do you keep these kinds of hairclips in?
Every time I try, it just slides down and out :( I have thicker, curly hair
If you could only put one product on your face (apart from moisturiser) what would it be?
I’m a new mum and I’m trying to find a more low effort look. Is there a single holy grail make up product that will make my skin look more radiant? I’m not really into/ don’t want to dedicate a lot of time to skincare.
Urgently In Need of Make Up Routine and Product Help
I’m a bridesmaid in my friends wedding this weekend and I finally have enough money to go shopping for some new products. Please tell me what reasonably priced items I should get, thank you so much in advance!!!
About my skin: I have naturally VERY VERY oily and sweaty skin. No matter the products, stage of life diet, time of year, etc I’m always oily. Additionally I live in the southern most region of Arizona, USA (one of the hottest American states). Also, I take 2 daily meditations that both have a side effect of increased sweating and causing low heat tolerance.
About me: I’m 22 F and have spent nearly a decade trying to find makeup that works for my skin. I grew up loving makeup in the 2016 everything matte era and although I prefer just mascara on a daily basis, I want to be able to do a full glam and not look like a melted candle after an hour.
Products I need to buy:
-Face and eyeshadow primer
-Concealer
-Setting spray
-Black waterproof eyeliner (specifically one that will stay all night in my water line)
-Long lasting lip products of any kind
-A warm toned eyeshadow pallet
Thank you again for literally any products/routine recommendations! I could really use the help!!
Bleaching my eyebrows
When I say I have dark, black eyebrows, I mean I have thick, black eyebrows. They make my face look so masculine and I’m getting tired of it. I just want to look softer.
I have the Jolene bleach - realistically, with how thick and dark my hair is, would it actually look worse you think bleached? I’m scared it’ll just look like I have orange brows 😭
EDIT: I will learn to love my features a lil more LMAO
Need a budget dupe for this lip color! First slide is the inspo, second slide is my lips. Can't afford Rhode, any affordable lip liners, lipsticks, or glosses that give a similar shade?
2nd slide is my lips
Strawberry Legs
I shave my body hair, and literally since forever, I've had strawberry legs, and it's starting to be really annoying. I am new to skincare and beauty and such, so I don't really use any products. I think I have sensitive skin (specifically my face), but thats besides the point. I don't really plan on or have the ability to get super expensive products, especially if they don't last that long. Any way on getting rid of strawberry legs? Thank you!!
How to stop leg hair from growing back so fast?
I stopped shaving about 6years ago because I got tired of how quickly my hair grew back. Upper lip, stomach, arms, feet, legs. I am Mexican and so the hair is very thick and dark. The other day it was so hot, I said fuck it and did a full shave. Not even 24 hours later and the stubbly bumps began. It's legitimately disheartening. My only method is shaving cream and a 5blade razor. Is there any hope in having at least one or two full days of smoothness? 😭
Awful shaving rash on legs
Every time I shave my legs I get this extremely painful rash afterwards and it’s driving me mad.
I use Estrid razors, I change the blades every 2nd time I shave. I use shaving cream and I lather up body wash etc.
It flares up like this the SECOND I exit the shower and no moisturiser will make it go down :(
Please any tips or advice because I feel like I’m doing everything right…
Shampoo for hard water
Need help with shampoo that helps mitigate the effects of hard water. Didn't realize how bad my water is until staying with a friend. Washed my hair with my regular shampoo and it's so soft &shiny. She does not have a water softener nor filter. Any ideas?
Women, I need your advice
Throughout my whole life, I’ve always struggled with personal hygiene and I want to fix that.
Honestly, maybe it’s very stupid that I’m writing this on Reddit and asking this type of question, while TikTok is around, but I still want to know some real personal advice and recommendations.
I also suffer from high functioning autism.

I’m usually that type of person that will shower once in every two days, so including my hair and body.
I never change underwear throughout the day, and I can also wear the same jeans, or denim specifically shorts, for more than one day, and I mean that as in, I don’t feel any type of ,,ick” from it.
I also find myself wearing the exact same socks for literally weeks, and such.
If I had to go to school, I would try my best to always look presentable and everything.
But I have some sort of messy look that I probably developed from not taking regular care of myself, and even though I don’t smell, you can kind of always see that, I have a very untamed look.
My mom, and in general, my family never showed me how to take proper care of myself.
I grew up in a very disruptive household, plus my mom is very depressed, and she’s kind of the same type of hygiene ( almost ), as me.
I believe that we look up to our parents, and what we see that they do, we can also imitate, especially when you’re younger.
I just started to live alone because of college, could you please tell me, everything that I should do to always keep my hygiene up and what is the most proper way to take care of myself as a woman.
By the way, I’m from Europe, so if you’re recommending products, recommend them if they are available in Europe.
Also, I like minty and lavender scented things, I also wax my whole complete body.
Thank you in advance for all your help and I hope you understand where I’m coming from, because it wasn’t easy 🫂
