I scalped my bermuda too short earlier this month. Some green growth has come back but still uneven. A few spots are filling in well, while others still look thin and stressed. I left it alone since then because I didn't want to put more stress on it in the summer heat. Before the scalp, I used navimow i210 for regular mowing, but I'm not sure when to start using it again. Should I wait for the thin spots to fill in, or start mowing at a higher setting so the healthier areas don't get too tall? I could also run it less often at first.

For anyone who has scalped bermuda during the growing season, how do you know when it's ready for regular mowing again?

I'm a rug lover with a shedding cat, and about 70% of my 110㎡ home is covered. Keeping the rugs clean every day is becoming a real chore, especially with all the cat hair and dust that builds up.

What's your best advice for handling daily cleaning on large rug areas? I've been thinking about a robot vacuum as one possible solution, but I really want something that does a strong job on deep rug cleaning without struggling with pet hair or bothering my cat. Any recommendations or experiences would be appreciated! Thanks!

I originally bought the Roborock Qrevo Slim, but my mom liked it so much she basically claimed it, so I ended up getting the Dreame L60 Ultra for myself. After using both for a few weeks, the biggest thing I noticed was the suction. The L60 Ultra pulls a lot more dust and hair out of rugs and corners around my couch, and it can also get into a few lower spots in my apartment that the Qrevo Slim would sometimes struggle with.

It’s also quieter than I expected, which has been nice since I work from home most days. Kinda funny too because my cat used to avoid it at first and now just sits there watching it go around the apartment.
