I’ve been growing out my curls and just took a video of the back for the first time in months and I’m honestly traumatized by how thin the ends look compared to the top (3rd pic was 2 years ago, 2nd pic is recent). Is this just a case of my layers growing out or does it look like actual breakage?

I’ve been using the umberto giannini (the pink line) and I thought my hair looked decent until I saw the video 🥲 My routine has always been brush styling after applying mousse, gel and diffusing. I recently also started using hairspray to make my curls last.
