Knot in ear lobe
I’ve had my 4th hole lobe piercing for almost 2 years and it has always bothered me. It wasn’t downsized for almost 2 months. I always clean my piercings with sterile saline spray and never had an issue with the 13 other piercings I have. No history of keloids. I kept flat back titanium threadless labrets in it even with a longer post. No trauma or injury to it. Well, in the last few months it’s gotten worse so I took it out and noticed a knot below it that itches and causes the area to be sore. I went to my piercer (not the piercer that did it) and she said it’s just irritated scar tissue because it looks like the angle was way off from the piercing and told me to leave the earring out for 3-4 weeks and then come back and she would pierce it correctly but the knot is still there and it itches and makes my whole lobe area sensitive. Any advice?
