What's the fine line with a VP you don't vibe with?

Would you move to company B given the below?

I've been at current company a short time

- 35-40 percent travel with most of that coming from flying to office half way across the country from me for a week once a month (plus maybe 4-5 annual conference).
-mix of current accounts and have been prospecting. Finally was added to inbound list recently, but sales cycles are often 60-90 days +.
- Problem is a lot of these are stalled accounts and the top one is cutting 40% their spend with us due to various reasons (internal and externally) which would likely negatively affect my quota unless they make an exception. Also a third of them have churned, are churning, or have said we have no growth plans.
-I've been prospecting on my own to fill pipe. Current accounts would get me to 35-40% quota most months but if there's churn that hits against me too.
-CRO has older kids and rubs me like used car salesman. he thinks there's sale cycles can be discovered and closed in 3 weeks LOL. It definitely seems like all he does is work with no outside life
-I'm only one quota carrier with young family and a special needs child. Every other rep has no kids
-Also found they laid off a few reps last year. And just fired rep last week.
-285k OTE at 100%.

Company B

-I had a verbal offer months ago but turned down because I was WOW'd by company A OTE. (I know I know).
-New logo acquisition and growing accounts from there. Was told 50 percent inbound (mix of website submissions and BDR). Rest is conference and self prospecting. I have some of my own leads I can prospect
-Same time zone, travel is much less (every 6-8 weeks for 3 days 7/8 trips a year). Fully remote otherwise
-They close from Christmas to new years plus offer 3 weeks PTO and a week flex.
-Seems to be older reps (some with kids) and my VP (direct report) has two younger kids himself. Also a big sports guy like me
-Company B could compete with current company but it's been rare from what I've seen. They do sell to same vertical but neither are the leader. They aren't listed as company on non compete.
-Reps on average have been here around 9 months more and not including ex reps. Overall company tenure is roughly 3x more (4.5 years). Half hit goals last year and the other half were close apparently. Sounds like better vibes
-OTE would be 250k

Would I be crazy to take theoretical 60k OTE pay cut?

I've been at current company a short time

- 40 percent travel with most of that coming from flying to office half way across the country from me for a week once a month (plus conference).
-I've been told I won't be receiving leads to focus on current accounts assigned to me to grow (not sure how long this will last). Problem is a lot of these are dead accounts and the top one is cutting half their spend with us due to various reasons (internal and externally) which would likely negatively affect my quota unless they make an exception. Also a third of them have churned, are churning, or have said we have no growth plans. I've been prospecting on my own to fill pipe.
-CRO has older kids and rubs me like used car salesman. It definitely seems like all he does is work with no outside life
-I'm only one quota carrier with young family and a special needs child. Every other rep has no kids
-Also found they laid off a few reps last year.
-290k OTE.

Company B seems to have better culture.

-I had a verbal offer but turned down because I was WOW'd by company A OTE.
-New logo acquisition and growing accounts from there. Was told 50 percent inbound (mix of website submissions and BDR). Rest is conference and self prospecting.
-Same time zone, travel is much less . Fully remote plus maybe a conference trip once or twice a quarter (5-10% travel).
-They close from Christmas to new years plus offer 3 weeks PTO and a week flex.
-Seems to be older reps (some with kids) and my VP (direct report) has two younger kids himself. Also a big sports guy like me
-Company B could compete with current company but it's been rare from what I've seen. They do sell to same vertical. They aren't listed as company on non compete.

-OTE 220-230k

Sublime Security?

Anyone have first or second hand experience working here?

Seems like it's a pretty solid product and going after Checkpoint and Abnormal. Wanted to know about the culture and if targets seem reasonable?

Two offers - tough deciding

  1. 300k OTE. Mix of farming and hunting. Would be remote plus 3 days of flying to office per month plus sporadic conference travel. Did have 1 round of layoffs 1.5 years ago. 1000 customers
  2. 225-250k OTE. Full hunting/ new logo role. 50 percent is inbound/ 50 percent self sourced. Fully remote plus some conference travel. 950 customers

Both cybersec startups and roughly the same employee count
