Apologies for the poor picture - my daughter really did not want me to take a picture and this is the best I could get.

My 4 year old daughter has recently been complaining that one of her teeth has been hurting and in on inspection today, I noticed that her gums exhibit some whiteness under a few of the teeth where she is having pain. I was wondering if this may be due some of her milk teeth that will be readying to fall out or is there something else this could be.
