First Vehicles for my custom Avalon Knights successor chapter
My first space marine vehicles with the Impulsor troop transport and Invictor warsuit.
Both very cool kits to build though a few lessons have been learned, do not glue the grav plates on the impulsor, paint them separate and then glue them cuz it is a huge pain to reach around them haha.
Ive gone for a mix of bluewing and ravenwing for the Impulsor as it seems to me that troop transports should really be apart of the ravenwing, if only to get more units with the colour scheme onto the table.
Going for the shield dome to give the lads inside as much protection as we can, I'm looking forward to trying out two fairly different strategies with this beauty, I've got 5 hellblasters that can ride around shooting out the sides like its a grand theft auto 3 gang mission and of course, the 7 man death blob of bladeguards and a chaplain (alternatively keen to try 6 ICC and a librarian once I can find another ICC squad).
I'm curious how the Invictor warsuit will go, I only have one phobos unit for its ability to trigger on but lately I've been thinking that its a trap to worry about that part of his kit. Hes a big, tough-ish unit with scouts who can hopefully hold down the board while the rest of the squad makes their way to the objective.
