Now that I think about it, this is UBW collab right? Shouldn't they use the mature version of Rin, you know, the one that was shown in the special episode? Like imagine, mature Rin wearing cheongsam in the third picture, stand side by side with Archer even after all those years then sprinkle some stuff on like it has been such a long time they have met yet they still work so well together as a duo as if the time they didn't spend together doesn't matter at all. I manage to successfully run with audio on! Fucking hell!!! It takes me over 4 fucking hours because when I try to set it up today (I have already download the files like at least a few days ago), the devs just so happen to update the code on github 3 days before so I'm running around like a headless chicken until I realize he updated it (I'm as blind as my name).

Where am I supposed to find those 3 .ks files? Also, there's bg_59? or even akira_02?

Tips for anyone try to set this locally:

• If you run into no audio, make sure to change the track name from "Track01.webm" to "track01.webm". The correct one is this t, NOT this T.
• "waifu2x-caffe-cui.exe -i "tools/convert-images/input" -o "tools/convert-images/input_x2" -m noise_scale -n 0 -s 2 -b 8 -p cudnn -model_dir models-cunet". This is the provided code to upscale images. However, it would only run if you're using NVIDIA. If you're like me who use AMD, you need to download waifu version for vulkan. Don't know if this is true or not but AI said the vulkan version can't automatically dig into subfolders so you'll have to run the code 3 times. Mine look like this "H:\Game2\waifu2x-ncnn-vulkan-20250915-windows\waifu2x-ncnn-vulkan.exe" -i "H:\Game2\tsukiweb-public-main\tools\convert-images\input\tachi" -o "H:\Game2\tsukiweb-public-main\tools\convert-images\input_x2\tachi" -n 0 -s 2 -m "H:\Game2\waifu2x-ncnn-vulkan-20250915-windows\models-cunet", replace tachi in both part with bg and event. If you don't do this, the script will use your CPU instead of GPU to upscale the image, so... good luck.
• When you finishing installing everything (you can skip the creating scene step), go back to tsukiweb-pulic-main folder or the big folder outside in the cmd, run npm start to start localhost. h + enter will show shortcut or you can just copy the localhost link and run it in your browser and you're done!

Edit: the dev has replied on github that .ks and fullscript_jp.txt isn't provided along with the repository as it's only for Plus-Disc and use a different engine. He's working on a new assets making orchestrator which would be simpler to use. This project is still in development so hope you'll guys will enjoy it.

So the other day I come across this on Twitter and it made me think "How true is this statement?". Putting aside the fact that I upload this in manhwa sub so there would be some bias towards manhwa (duh), but do you guys think manhwa readers are more tolerable (or should I say more forgivable) towards slop than those who read manga?

Before we go on with the discussion, I want to explain the rating, at least imo. There are gems (in the top, best, one of a kind, etc.), quite good (so 7,8/10), mid (5,6/10), bad (3,4/10), slop (below 3), (e.g some of the at least good to gem manhwa I read is

• Bad Born Blood
• Ending Maker
• The Extra's Academy Survival Guide
• Philomel the Fake
• Star-Embracing Swordmaster
• Mia is Back
• The Novel's Extra

Those are the only title that I find quite good so it could back the reason for my rating). Maybe it's intuition or perhaps I have slop detecting radar or some shit, but I rarely read any manga that's rated as slop. However, that's not the case with manhwa, I find manhwa slop like everywhere.

Shouldn't we raise the bar of quality for manhwa as a whole instead of going along with "it's slop, but it does have some entertaining elements"? Don't you ever felt "that manhwa is so god damn good but they fuck up along the way, I really wish the author actually utilize the ideas he brought in the story to the absolute limit"? Lots of manhwa bring up many good elements that I haven't seen in manga before but most of the time, they're badly executed and I never seen it brought up again in other works.

Now tbf, manhwa only gain traction recently since the Covid while manga pretty much dominate the industry for god know how long, manga have way more time to mature. So, do you think the trajectory of current manhwa industry are anywhere close to moving up the graph (closer to the gem while increasing the floor)?

I don't want to act like an asshole, you can say that I'm just nitpicking but ever since I see these 2D necklace, it just take me out of the immersion, I can't unsee it. It looks so god damn fake that I would rather the artist not include it in the first place or draw some really really simple accessory if they think it's too time-consuming and it doesn't worth the effort cause most readers wouldn't notice it anyway.

Also, I think there's a term called Environmental Storytelling, and some of these accessory don't make sense at all. I get that they try to add things to the character they don't feel... hollow/empty and it's one of the main selling points of these adaptation, to attract readers with 'stunning arts' but wtf do you mean a god damn butler wearing a fucking jewelry as big as my palm?

Then in The Perks of Being a Villainess, the author make a whole scene revolve around a piece of diamond that span across multiple chapters like it really is a big deal then some reason, IDK who, either the director or the artist decide to slap the most fake ass necklace ever onto Isidore. I'm sitting here smh like what???
