Independence is a bad idea.

Look what Russia did in Ukraine. Russia "Acknowledged and recognized" the "independent" regions of Ukraine and used the fake independence as rationale to invade.

Either USA or Russia will do the same when Alberta votes to be independent. And your kids will be drafted to fight in the stupidest war in history. I promise you that.
