Unexplained lights and bizarre sky phenomenon filmed over Edmonton early morning

Time: August 12, 2025 at 5:20 AM
Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Filmed this strange light formation in the early morning sky, followed by a very unusual cloud structure right after. Looking to see if anyone else in the area witnessed this or has an explanation for the light patterns.

Get your story straight. Which one is it?

https://preview.redd.it/n1gmlqo0ba2h1.png?width=657&format=png&auto=webp&s=b6f43c21b4072aa66b6c07cad4bcb4ba270b6e0b

He wears the hat. The reason he wears the hat is to portray himself as "the every man". His theatre is "I am one of you." It's a facade and the unobservant eat it up. Do you think my argument is weak? Did Donald Trump ever wear a ball cap to close a real estate deal?

It's an old game. A politician wears a business suit when he's in a room speaking to the chamber of commerce. He wears jeans and shirt (with his sleeves rolled up) while speaking at the tradesman union hall.

C'mon man -- you know it's true. If you're a comedian, play to the frigging room. Yeah well, I like comedy:

... and this is horse shit.

But here's the question -- and it's right there in this photograph. You wear the "every man" hat of separation, but at the same time, you wear a poppy -- which exploits the conservative trope "support our troops".

How do you "support our troops" while wearing an emblem in remembrance of people that died for a country -- you want to separate from?

Yeah, it's a little thing, but you need to get your story straight. You're a lawyer. You're not a God-damned cowboy. And by the way Jeffie: guys that wear cowboy hats (for real) don't wear an undershirt and they definitely don't button up their suit jackets.

Buddy, I don't think you've ever stepped in the horse shit you fling.

Sadly, most of the dumb bells this huckster is manipulating will never notice it.

Edit: Just a little language fun fact: Do you know what the Dutch word is for business suit? It's pronounced just like you'd think:

"Kostuum".

You know... like a rodeo clown.

Alberta manufacturing... redux

I do not believe in coincidences.

Trump meets with Xi in China and leaves. Putin arrives in China 2 hours ago, 4 days later. Xi is playing interlocutor to Russia after meeting with Trump.

China wants Taiwan. Russia wants Ukraine. Trump wants out of his Iran mess.

Prediction: Prepare for Taiwan to be thrown under the bus. Prepare for Ukraine to further go under the bus. In return, Trump needs to get out of the Iran mess he created.

If there ever was a time for Alberta to get on a plane to Taiwan, this is it. TSMC owns a 53% world market share of semiconductors, totaling Taiwan's 67% of world market share.

Alberta should be over there like a stinky shirt, on a plane right now, to get the Taiwanese to invest in building a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Alberta, immediately... with Alberta's support.

Again, it's no coincidence Putin has arrived in China 2 hours ago, 4 days after Xi's meeting with Trump. There are some dirty tricks afoot, to be sure. Time to make that "Alberta Advantage" bullshit slogan actually mean something.

Edit: I would like to welcome our American friends lurking around this discussion. I can see you're in here reading it (5 percent so far in the last hour), along with my other post I made over the weekend :) Thank-you for your interest in Alberta's "business comings and goings". You accounted for 2 percent of 20,000 views of my post on Saturday. I didn't think we were that interesting to you... but apparently we are

wink wink :)

And I wonder if the "other" 2% of 20,000 are the Chinese. Would that surprise you?

Nothing Solves Climate Absolutism Faster Than Separatist Pressure

Alberta starts rattling the separatism cage.

For years Canadians were told:
• pipelines were basically immoral,
• oil and gas had to be phased out,
• carbon taxes would save the planet,
• and everyone just needed to accept higher costs “for the transition.”

Meanwhile people got crushed by:
• groceries exploding in price,
• housing becoming unreachable,
• energy bills climbing,
• and stagnant wages getting eaten alive by inflation.

But now? Suddenly Ottawa is discovering the importance of:
• “national unity,”
• “energy security,”
• “responsible resource development,”
• and “working collaboratively with Alberta.”

What changed? Did carbon stop mattering? Or did separatism suddenly become politically inconvenient?

Because it sure looks like the federal government under realized western alienation might actually have consequences beyond angry tweets.

Funny how fast priorities shift.
