The Mayor shared his thoughts earlier this year on the upcoming referendum on separating from Canada. He called it unproductive, and not aligned with the work that needs to take place at all levels of government. It harms investor confidence, in a time when we are facing global instability.

Here's a cabinet minister form the UCP caucus. He's not confused. Unlike a certain, other minister who will go nameless...

Pro-tip for Albertan cabinet ministers: you can in fact just say what Minister Turton said earlier this spring.

You can share that we are a beacon of hope, as Albertans and Canadians.

And we are voting for Alberta to be that guiding light for Canada.

Councillor Clark (Ward 9) shared his sentiments on the separation referendum this week (link inside)

Councillor Harrison Clark, who represents Ward 9 on Calgary's city council, shared a five minute clip this week about the referendum.

In his video, he shared the need to care and to listen, to lower the temperature and engage in conversations powerfully, clearly, and be part of a healthy debate. He also thinks that staying at the table, and continuing to do the work of nation building in Canada, is more important than ever before.

Consider listening to his comments and call to substantive dialogue, here: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DayOUHYvpxT/

I found it a good thing to listen to, and a solid reminder of our unique duty as Canadians to participate positively and thoughtfully.

Suspended on Threads. Help?

Hi /r/ThreadsApp,

As a person who has spent hundreds of thousands in ad dollars on Meta platforms, this is a uniquely horrible experience.

My advocacy account remains disabled. I can attest: I am not inauthentic, nor am I fake.

I've appealed, written a letter and sent a DM. I have followed up with Meta Business Services.

It's been a month.

Threads won't even let me download the account information (it's blocked).

Does anyone know somebody at Threads? Has anyone ever had an account restored after being incorrectly flagged and disabled by Thread's algorithm?
