Best way to take notes?

I'm starting my first year of Uni in the fall and I'm curious what is the best way to write my notes while in class? Is an old laptop fair or would it better to invest in a new one, maybe an iPad, pen & paper, anything really? I'm in the phys ed transfer class if that changes anything. Any help would be really appreciated!

Is it possible to do bcomm while working 7-4pm FT

I’m 21F, and I’m wanting to go back to school for a bachelors in commerce. I have my own apartment and just bought a brand new car, I work full time for a different municipality. I want to go to school as I regret not pursing a bachelors in the beginning and just up and went into the trades instead. Is it possible to do BCOM while doing a 7-4pm shift ( really 3:30 but takes me 30 minutes to get home ). Does macewan offer evening classes or online classes to accommodate?

Bachelors of Arts into Bsc Nursing?

Hello everyone, is it possible to apply to Macewan for a bachelors of arts then transfer into bachelors of science in nursing? I’ve heard that this route is possible with Bachelors of Science, and I’m wondering if it’s possible with a Bachelors of Arts as well since I did not take Math 30-1 in high school. Lastly, is it also possible to never take any math electives for any of my 8 classes for my first year? Or is it required? They’ll most likely just bring my GPA down since i’m not that strong with math.

Unethical Professor

Not getting into the details but I have a prof who explained how she engages in civil/human rights violations and that we in the program will probably have to as well and I am not sure how to handle the situation.

ALBERTA PEOPLE! Information / Advice on Student Loans Needed

Hello everyone!

Needed Information:

- I received a full-time student loan for my summer semester because I enrolled in 2 courses: Anthropology and Sociology.

- I am also enrolled and registered in a full-time course load come fall/winter semester with a confirmed full-time student loan.

Okay so I made a mistake...

I am currently enrolled in the 2 summer courses, but I realized I only NEED to take sociology, not anthropology :p whoops!

I want to drop the anthropology course, since I do not need it for my degree, however this would make me a "part-time student" for the summer semester.

Does anyone know how that affects Alberta student loans? I have heard you cannot drop down to part-time without major consequences, however since I am enrolled full-time in fall/winter will they care?

I am only asking reddit since student aid is currently closed for the day lol. I have also googled this and no results are showing!
