Hey everyone,

I’ve recently become really interested in learning more about precolonial Nigeria, since I realized I don’t know much about what the region was like before colonisation.

I’d especially like to learn more about the religions people followed, the political systems and kingdoms, cultures, daily life, trade, and basically how society worked before British colonisation.

If anyone has good sources, documentaries, videos, books, articles, or even interesting facts/topics I should look into, I’d really appreciate it!!

Hey guys, does anyone know any good videos, documentaries, books, websites, literally anything about precolonial Nigeria? I need it for a presentation and I’d really like to learn more about that period.

ich interessiere mich aktuell für Lost Places und würde das Ganze auch gerne selbst mal ausprobieren. Allerdings habe ich absolut keine Ahnung, wie ich am besten anfange. Deshalb meine Frage an euch: Wie seid ihr eingestiegen? Gibt es Dinge, auf die man unbedingt achten sollte z.B. Sicherheit? Und welche Kleidung bzw. Ausrüstung würdet ihr empfehlen?
