Hey everyone, I do apologize im sure this has been asked alot on here. But, I just purchased a 15ft deep V aluminum boat. It doesnt have a plaque for weight/passengers and also doesnt have hull #s. Theres currently no motor on it but question 1. If I wanted to go with over 10hp would not having the plaque be an issue and im assuming can request a hull #. And 2. If I just buy a 9.9 for it for a putt putt, I dont need to register or anything?. I have a valid boaters license plus the oars, boat kit etc.
