Leaks every 1-3 days
Two years back I moved into a 13 year old house with a single station drip irrigation setup, so not sure how old the irrigation is. We immediately had a leak, that I took a few months to get someone to it to fix it. Seemed like a nice company, got charged a lot for little though.
A few months later we again got a leak, different spot. Thought I could fix it as I could see it. But decided against it due to a little more digging needed. First one didn’t respond, finally found someone else months later. They fixed it. Showed me some red irrigation heads in the ground, said that was the wrong way to do it and they took it off (me cursory watching YouTube video just previous night, felt they are good for pressure control, but I can be totally off). Well after that first leak fix, every 1-3 days I’m getting a leak in a different spot. The tech says, pressure is normal, but with the warm weather, weak spots are going to get exposed like clockwork. Just fixed it yesterday (said it was thinner pipe) and again this morning, there’s a large leak in another spot. This will be the 4th one _after_ the original one just by this tech.
At this point what is my solution? Just keep spending every 3-4 days doing patches? It’s one station, front and back, and overhaul is going to be too expensive. Thanks.
