2 months clean – would smoking for a few days ruin everything?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been completely clean from weed for about 2 months now, and honestly I’m a bit proud of myself. The first few weeks were rough, but lately I’ve been feeling mentally clearer, more motivated, and more stable overall.
Now here’s the problem:
For the last few days I’ve been thinking about smoking again “just for 2–3 days.” Not going completely off the rails, but doing it consciously. One part of me thinks I could handle it more maturely now than I did before. Another part of me is worried I’ll disappoint myself afterward or fall back into old patterns.
I work, go to the gym, and function pretty well right now — which is exactly why I’m wondering if a short relapse would really ruin everything or if controlled use is actually possible.
I’m mostly interested in honest experiences from people who took a longer break and then tried smoking again “just for a short time”:
Was it worth it?
Did you feel bad afterward or actually relaxed?
Did it slowly become a regular thing again?
Or did you realize you really had become more disciplined?
Please no generic “drugs are bad” replies. I’m genuinely looking for real experiences and honest opinions.
Thanks guys.
