The acting was phenomenal, the script and cinematography were great, twists were shocking, and the humor landed. There was one jumpscare that felt a little predictable, but otherwise I have very few complaints.

One thing I thought they were going to do was have a vivid transformation scene, where the girl transforms into the true form of what's possessing her. Glad that didn't happen. Also glad they don't explain what the One Wish Willows are; I now have something to ponder about.

And the jumpscare that was predictable was the car one (if you know, you know). If the scene were one take, taken from the hood of the car looking in, the scare could have landed much harder.

Very nice -- ears for a mouth, mouth for ears. Things are going to change around here. Things have changed so much already, after all. The world has no idea. The town listens, though. The town acts. It speaks, it hears. It's going to glisten like a shimmering ball, and going to glisten for the 15th time, now.

Does anyone else think they contain the souls of the townsfolk who died over the course of the show? Being that's why they're at the tree, as a warning for what comes next, thus why they're at the funeral of the priest in season 4? I dunno, there's more batshit stuff in this show so I didn't rule this out and wanted to know if I was crazy or not.
