I hate the "New World" trope in animated movies
(The images are from example films or where I started to hate this trope)
There are several plot tropes in movies that I detest, and one of them is definitely the "New World" or "New Society" trope, It's not that I really can't tolerate it, but after seeing it in so many movies well... I literally already know how the beginning, development, and ending will be.
Whenever they use this trope, the plot is mostly about the new world being bad and the protagonist making them good, and in the end they both come together. Or also, the protagonist finds out something or someone new and spends half the movie looking for it, only to end up together...again.
Despite all that trope, some of these movies still manage to at least make it interesting, but they always start the same way and end the same way and I honestly feel that it makes the plot super predictable.
I'm not saying that producers shouldn't expand the world or universe in their films, In fact, it's interesting and a good way to come up with a new plot but I feel there are better ideas than this trope.
