I, the dumper, was attempting to salvage a relationship with my ex before she decided she wanted space, no contact, to process all the new changes in her life (including our break up), and past trauma from before we met that she hadn't dealt with. I'm torn between hypotheticals as to why she really needs the space, but thats not the point.

Her birthday is next month, and I'm torn between three choices: 1: Respecting her wishes and not contacting her or sending flowers. 2: Just sending flowers and a card/note. Or 3, sending flowers and messaging her happy birthday.

I don't need criticism, just advice or a sounding board interaction.
