I have noticed two vertical lines on this tooth starting from the cervical area (near the gum line) and extending toward the incisal edge. Recently,a microscopic fragment of enamel chipped off exactly where these lines originate. My dentist has already filled that small gap between teeth with a composite filling.

Even though the area was treated, the dentist used the term 'fracture', which has me a bit concerned.He said he couldn't do anything about this lines.
