Cuts at a mile high?

I’m trying to do my first distillation this weekend. I’ve gotten everything prepared and been doing a lot of research, but then it hit me, I’m at a mile elevation, which should lower the cuts for heads, hearts, and tails. I scoured the internet to no avail. Does anyone have experience distilling at this elevation that can share general cut temps, just to aid me in my first distillation?

Edit: Thanks everyone for chiming in! All of your advice is sincerely appreciated!

What is this? Can’t find anything online about it

Was exploring New Austin and saw this symbol. There’s nothing where the symbol is

Cut too soon after pouring?

I made soap for the first time yesterday. I did two CP batches with both pours going great. They both setup great, and I should’ve probably allowed more time in the molds, but I got excited and cut the first batch (the solid white bars) after about 8hrs, and it was completely hard and passed the zap test.

I got encouraged by the success of the 1st batch and took more liberties on the 2nd. Here’s the recipe I came up with:

700g of Tallow
50-70g of Jojoba oil
40g of Argan oil
200g of Water
113g of Lye
30g of Bergamot EO
20g of Grapefruit EO
1/4 teaspoon of Rooibos dry tea

I let it solidify and cut it only after about 4hrs. It was completely hard, but I’m left with this weird lighter and darker design. It passes the zap test, so is it just residual water that will dry over time? Or, did I use too much jojoba/argan oil and didn’t completely saponificate?

Found this friendly little guy

Northern New Mexico

It looks like some sort of parasitoid wasp, but please correct me if I’m wrong. Would also love an ID if the photos are good enough
