Not a fan of the line “I learned to accept myself” when referring to being non-op

I‘m of the opinion that anyone can do anything they want with their body, and a man isn’t any less of a man if he doesn’t have a dick. But why cant people just leave it at that? You want a dick? Awesome. You don’t want a dick? Awesome. I don’t need you to list off the reasons why you’re not getting bottom surgery. Especially not when those little phrases like “I’ve already lived up to this point with a vag” or “the parts work just fine now” or “phallo results look gross” are sprinkled in.

I personally need bottom surgery, but I’m not going to force someone to listen to my reasonings; it’s a very personal issue. But I just really can’t stand the “I learned to accept myself” line because it lowkey implies that others should just learn to accept a part they (personally) need fixed.
