AIO for how I responded?

Edit: I understand where y’all are coming from. To the people who are telling me to block him, I blocked him days ago. I shouldn’t have responded as much as I should, I know. Lesson learned.

Edit 2: so me wanting to be friends with him was when we first met. After the first two days of us chatting, we both lost interest. It’s been a year since then and I forgot about him until recently. I don’t want to be friends now.

I’m going to use a fake name for this scenario. Jimmy (21M) and I (27F) met online last year. I wasn’t comfortable dating anyone who’s in their early twenties so I told I’m we could be friends. We talked for 2 and a half days and haven’t said anything to each other after that. So I deleted his number and moved on.

Every other month or so, he’d text me wanting to “hang out”. I’d tell him no and then I won’t hear from him again until 2 months later. Before anyone tells me I should’ve blocked him sooner, I would forget he exists until he text me, it never crossed my mind to block him then. He recently hit me up and this is how it went.

My friend told me that I was being rude and should’ve been nicer. I personally felt disrespected and got annoyed by the amount of times he’s texted me the whole week. Normally the texts would last 2 minutes but he continuously text me until I responded. I told my friend that all he wanted was sex prior to this conversation and she told me I don’t have proof of that, since all he asked for was to “hang out”. Let alone, we’ve never met in person and our original texts lasted two days. I admit, I could’ve handled that differently.
