Hey guys ! I’m from Athens Greece.
Lately, with these gas prices I see more and more drivers getting rid of their car and picking the public transport which is problematic in Athens. Also I see a lot of people that don’t own a car and have to commute with the bus or metro. The idea is simple : a driver that will commute anyways with the car takes a passenger that wants to go to the same place or somewhere during the ride route and they share the cost. Nobody makes profit, but it’s almost zero cost for both.
The platform is called rove and you can access it at rove.gr
I found about it recently ! They’ve added a waitlist and they are releasing on summer. Hope this is helpful for everyone
