Anything I can do with a 0 hour contract?
Hi, maybe this isn't the right place to make this post. So I apologize for that.
I am at the moment very stuck in life. I am 27f and I live with my dad and I had to quit my science study 3 years ago because of chronic insomnia and it hasn't become much better since... I work for 7 years in a warehouse and this became the only thing I am really able to do because I have a 0 hour contract. I did work mostly 3 days a week, and I am scheduled for that. But now for a month I haven't been able to work because I can barely function with how bad I sleep.. I of course don't get paid because I don't work... but I wonder if thats right. It is a small company and I said a couple of weeks ago for the first time in 7 years what my rights are when I am sick. If its possible to get paid.. but I haven't heard anything yet.
Honestly I don't know what to do right now.
I don't have money to ever leave home.. I can't function enough to work fulltime and yeah.. after hospital exams, and multiple contacts with the gp they also can't help me and my insomnia. They basically don't know what is wrong and I only have a strong sleep medication that makes me feel worse.
Genuinely. I don't know what to do at this point.
I have no knowledge of 'uitkering' or 'ziektewet' and if thats even possible with my situation.
