How are the abused expected to cope?

The cost of living scares me so much, and I’ve been saving up to move out, but surely this is hard for so many people?

I’ve had emotional abuse in my life - it could have been worse, but it definitely made it hard growing up. Things like parental mental illnesses, religious indoctrination, and homophobia.

*edit - also time in foster care and estrangement

Anyway - I’m just one person. But, how many others are living with this in secret and struggling?

It feels to me like there’s this massive bubble that’s going to burst when soon enough living becomes impossible for vulnerable people.

Rent costs are becoming impossible especially for those who are vulnerable. Honestly it makes me wish that homeowners would choose lower sales prices out of charity just to shift the market.
