RIP Joe Sedelmaier, Creator of Wendy's "Where's The Beef?" ads.

So much deadpan goodness. Before Terry Gilliam, before the Coen Brothers, before Wes Anderson, Joe Sedelmaier was creating hundreds of eccentric, dysfunctional, and hilarious mini-movies with his own brand of set design, cinematography, and score.

This one hurts. Absolutely. Positively.
