Beginner invester advice for feeding cash ISA into stocks ISA
Hi there.
26M here and I have always been an avid saver and good with saving my money. However I made some mistakes by just leaving it in a UK bank account with little to no interest so last year I decided to max my 20k isa allowance. At first I just split it 5k into the s and p 500’and 15k into the cash isa having already had some in the cash ISA before. I want to start investing efficiently and consistently but not quite sure how to structure it and as much as I know how “safe” the S&P 500 is for somewhere to hold money I would also like to try diversify my investments a little with perhaps a slight more risk. Are pies on trading 212 the best place to look for this? I was thinking of either that or creating a Uk defence pie with some of the large defence contractors in the UK. How would you split my savings by % into cash isa and stocks and would you just stick 200£ on the same day every week?
