Wiring/Part selection help?
Hi! I have a silly parts project bass/guitar hybrid I am throwing together for a punk project.
My goal I have is that I want a functionally simple layout with an output dedicated to each individual pickup, the first pickup (P1) being a bass pickup, the second (P2) being a humbucker voiced for guitar. P1 will be going through my bass rig, P2 through my guitar rig. There is a million ways to do something like this, but this is the interface I'd like to go with.
The only part I may need to acquire is a more usable 3-way selector switch. No volume, no tone, just a switch for Line 1, Both lines, and Line 2. My problem is that I have a hard time piecing together a wiring diagram from scratch. I can follow existing ones when wiring stuff up, this is new territory for me.
Yes, there is definitely other ways this sort of effect can be achieved, I'm just working with what I can and find this interface intuitive for my goals.
What sort of switch should I be looking for (how many lugs, etc)? Alternatively, does anyone have any resources that could help a gal figure this out herself? 😅
