I’ve been a huge Dark Magician fan since the anime first began, and I’ve also recently got invested in actual playing in locals (I played one last year with a half put together deck that was closer to a Yugi Battle City deck, as you can imagine it didn’t go well, but, I had fun!)
Anyway, I watched TeamSamuraiX1’s recent DM 2026 Deck video, and have been working my way to acquiring those cards. I have a basic understanding of how the deck works by using a similar style deck on Master Duel but I wanted to come here and get some opinions on what people think of it.
Like for example, can I summon Dark Magician of Black Chaos MAX using Secrets of Dark Magic? I know the MAX card mentions it can only be ritual summoned using Chaos Form.
Also happy to hear people’s feedback on the combos I could perform using the cards listed.
I’m also welcome to any adjustments you’d make, I know for example some people have mentioned a Dark Magician x Shining Sarcophagus deck.
It’s also important to note that I have no aspirations to be a pro, literally would just play in locals for fun, so not really bothered about the ‘meta’.
